Getting Started


Before you start your weekly coaching sessions, follow the steps below to identify what you want coaching on. The information you enter will help your coaching partner keep you on the right track.

1. Initialize your Wheel of Life

Follow the simple, step by step wizard to create your Wheel of Life.

Things to keep in mind when you fill in your Wheel of Life:

  • Your coaching partner will be able to see the information you enter.
  • The wizard takes about 20 minutes. You can save your work and resume any time you want.
  • Have fun!

2. Create Your Goals

Create goals for each of your life areas. Aim to have at least 3 goals for each life area, no matter how big or small.

Follow these steps:

  1. Click on the "Wheel of Life" tab on the left.
  2. Click on one of the life areas on your Wheel.
  3. Click on the [+ Add New Goal] button half way down the page.
  4. Enter your goal name, choose the appropriate life areas (if others apply), and click [Create].

Repeat these steps for each life area until you are done.

3. Prioritize Your Goals

Use the prioritize goals page to drag your most important goals to the top of the list. Goals that appear 'above the line' will become the focus of your weekly coaching.

Aim to have at least one "Top Priority" goal that is achievable within 6 to 12 weeks and challenging enough to make you proud when you accomplish it.

  1. Click on the "Goals" tab on the left.
  2. Click on the "Prioritize Goals" link at the top right of the page.
  3. Drag your goals into the correct priority.
  4. Click [save changes] button and you're done.

4. Supercharge Your Top Priority Goals

Make your top priority goals SMART, add inspiring images, and give them meaningful due dates. Learn more about SMART goals.

Aim to have at least one supercharged goal. It takes a bit of time but your top goals are worth the extra effort.

  1. Click on the "Goals" tab on the left.
  2. Click on the goal you wish to supercharge.
  3. Click on the link that says "make this goal SMART".
  4. Save your changes and click on the "Inspiring images" tab to upload images.
  5. Click [save changes] button when you're done.

5. Chunk it Down

Brainstorm a comprehensive list of to-do's for each of your top priority goals. If you're stumped with things to-do to achieve your goal, try answering some of these questions to create to-do's:

  • Who could you ask for help with this goal?
  • What supplies do you need for this goal?
  • Who else could you enroll in doing this goal with you?
  • What sticky notes, frigde magnets, or reminders could you create to ensure success for this goal?

To chunk your goal down, do the following:

  1. Click on the "Goals" tab on the left.
  2. Click on the goal you wish to chunk down.
  3. Scroll down to the To-do's section and click on the [New to-do] button.
  4. Enter your to-do and a due date (if applicable).
  5. Click the [ok] button when you are done.

6. Get a Coaching Partner

If you haven't already done this, get a partner now. You will get the most out of Noomii with a partner by your side.

7. Schedule Your First Coaching Session

Choose a date and time to start coaching. Try to choose a consistent time that both you and your coach can commit to each week.

  1. Click on the "Coaching Page" tab on the left.
  2. Click on the [Schedule your first coaching session] button.
  3. Choose a date and time that works for you and press the [Create Session] button.

8. Start Coaching!

To start coaching, go to the coaching agenda. It has coaching instructions and displays your top priority goals and commitments.

  1. Click on the "Coaching Page" tab on the left.
  2. The agenda of your scheduled session will be open.
  3. To coach your partner, go to their coaching page by clicking on the top tab containing their name.
